The annual Kyneton Community Track and River Fun Run is on this coming Sunday at the Kyneton racecourse.
The event will include a five and 10-kilometre walk and run, as well as a new novel Race the Tiger feature, which all participants can get involved in after the official races.
The Track and River Fun Run is an off-road, safe, family event. Walkers and runners will begin on the race track before venturing out onto the Campaspe River walk then returning to the finish line under the oak trees by the race track.
The event is a fundraiser for the Kyneton Football Netball Club, with a portion of profits to be donated to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
"We hope this year will be bigger than ever as we celebrate the club's 150th anniversary," said KFNC president Karen O'Sullivan.
Massages are on offer before and after the event as well as good coffee, barbecue, jumping castle, music, cricket and more.
The KFNC wishes to thank the following sponsors and supporters, Midland Express, Campaspe Family Practice, Covet Homes, Mary-Anne Thomas MP, Kyneton and Hanging Rock Race Club, MMD Graphic Design, Dynamic Print Group and Jellis Craig.
