Kyneton Football Netball Club will have its own race named in honour of the club's 150th Anniversary at this weekend's Massey Ferguson Woodend Cup meeting.
Kyneton Tigers are hosting racegoers in the Elms Room at the Kyneton Race Course this Saturday, where Tiger's punters will be able to bet on their own special race.
Club president Karen O'Sullivan ssid the race named the KFNC 15Oth Anniversary Stakes was sure to create interest in the Kyneton Tigers.
"We have a big year ahead with anniversary celebrations, and this is the perfect way to kick it off for our footballers, netballers and supporters," Ms O'Sullivan said.
The Kyneton and Hanging Rock Racing Club has been an ongoing supporter of the Kyneton Tigers, and it continues to facilitate the KFNC Track and River Fun Run which is on Sunday, February 18.
"We are extremely grateful for the Kyneton and Hanging Rock Racing Club's support, and we believe the Massey Fersguson Woodend Cup Race Day showcases our growing partnership," Ms O'Sullivan said.
