Romswood Farm will open the gates to its breathtaking peony farm this coming weekend for people to share in the delights of this majestic flower.
Visitors are welcome to explore the established gardens or wander through the fields of blooming peonies where they can pick their own bunch to take home. Either pack yourself a picnic or enjoy some of the tasty food available at the farm, sit back and listen to live folk music and indulge in the peony products made on site at Romswood. Children can embark on nature walks to look out for some of the furry friends who also call Romswood home.
Located in Kerrie, Romswood Farm has been growing peonies since the mid 1990s. The cool climate of the region creates perfect peony growing conditions, echoing those of the imperial gardens of China where the peony originated and continues to be revered as a symbol of peace, stability, distinction and wealth.
Romswood Farm, 155 Cherokee Road, Kerrie, is open this coming Saturday and Sunday, November 25 and 26, from 11am - 4pm.
Pre-purchased tickets are available online for $10 or on the gate for $12, children are free.
