One of the largest events in regional Victoria, the Malmsbury Village Fayre is held in the lush Malmsbury Botanic Gardens and attracts more than 2000 people from across the state.
Offering up a range of unique entertainment and opportunities to experience the region's local produce and handmade goods, it's obvious to see why this event is highly anticipated.
Fayre committee president Sue Everett said this year's fayre, on Sunday, November 19, from 10am to 4pm, was expected to be bigger and better than ever.
"It is going to be huge. We are expecting thousands of people from across central Victoria as well as those travelling up from Melbourne by car and V/Line train as we have a station just a short stroll from the gardens," she said.
Ms Everett recommends families and groups should plan to arrive early and bring a picnic rug.
"It's a great day to find a spot on the lawns, grab a glass of local wine, beer or cider and some lunch from one of the many food trucks. Enjoy the music while the kids are entertained with free face-painting, jumping castles and storytelling in the Teddy Bears picnic play area. You can even grab a few beautiful locally made Christmas presents while you are here."
There is plenty for all ages and the whole family, see you at the fayre!
The fayre is a not-for-profit community run event with all proceeds donated back into the Malmsbury community.
