On Saturday evening I collapsed at my parents' home and hit the back of my head on a concrete floor.
An ambulance was called which arrived quickly and soon I was in the capable hands of paramedics Emma and Julie.
They were extremely calm, professional and involved my family and partner in proceedings to get me to Bendigo Hospital for treatment.
I can't say this would not have been the way we wanted to spend a Saturday in Kyneton.
My heartfelt thanks go out to Emma and Julie from Ambulance Victoria and to the wonderful staff at Bendigo Hospital for their superlative efforts and for their good humour.
