Thousands flocked to the historic township of Maldon last weekend for the 140th annual Maldon Easter Fair.
The fair is the longest running Easter Fair in Australia and was once again jam-packed full of five massive days of entertainment.
From the Aussie Scone Bake and lighting of the Tower Lights on Thursday evening through to the epic traditional street parade finale on Monday morning, there was loads to see and do and plenty of events to celebrate the magnificent milestone.
The parade always features an array of colourful and quirky characters and this year's procession was no exception with the Easter Bunny, multiple Donald Trump lookalikes and Patsy, Edina and Bubbles from Absolutely Fabulous making an appearance in the 'Absolutely Fabulous Maldon' entry.
Moonlighting as Pats was our very own Mount Alexander Shire mayor and local Sharon Telford! It was a family affair with Sharon's sisters Janet Purcell (Eddy) and Cathy Whiteman (Bubbles), daughter (Saffy) and niece (Driver) joining in the frivolity. The group took out the honours for 'Most Humorous Float' and 'Best Private Entry' for their efforts.
