I have lived in Kyneton for barely five years, so I am (in local terms, anyway) still a newcomer. But in the time since I took up residence, no-one has done more to enhance this town's reputation than Lisa Rundell with her magnificent Lost Trades Fair.
This latest event was a tribute to Lisa's tenacity and determination to succeed, often against the odds. In fact it must surely be the envy of scores of other similar sized towns throughout Victoria.
As chairman of the Kyneton Men's Shed I salute this young woman, and thank her for allowing the Shed to become a small part of this superb and well organised event! At the very least, the shire council should send Lisa a formal letter of congratulations and thanks for the wonderful way she is promoting the town of Kyneton and attracting many thousands of visitors to the shire. Personally, I reckon she deserves a medal!
